Goodwood Action Sports set to rock FOS once again

Goodwood Action Sports returns once again to the Festival of Speed, bringing together top riders from Freestyle Motocross, BMX and Mountain Bikes, all ready to thrill with their gravity-defying tricks and stunts during the weekend.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 GAS 2 the list of stars is X Games gold medallist, Edgar Torronteras, and Freestyle Motocross founding father, Petr Pilat, who appeared at the Festival last year performing a series of jaw-dropping tricks.

“I’ve heard so many amazing stories about Goodwood and the Festival of Speed from some of the other athletes that have visited,” said Edgar Torronteras. “It’s going to be incredible performing in the UK.”

Mountain Bike & BMX legends from all over the globe will also be battling to be crowned the King of GAS. Britain’s former world champion, Kye Forte, heads the list of BMX riders, joined by American X Games heroes Brandon Dosch and Chris Doyle.

GAS legend and 12-times Trials world champion, Dougie Lampkin, will be showcasing his skills in the GAS Arena, as well as popping up around the Goodwood estate throughout the weekend.

This year’s jump-filled course is three times longer than previously, which should guarantee GAS fans some of the most exciting two-wheel action they’ll ever see.

There’s even a chance to have a go yourself at the GAS Experience zone. A set of fully qualified instructors will be available, along with all the safety equipment needed for adults and children.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place at Goodwood House, West Sussex, on 26-29 June 2014.
