All-new Trafic and Vivaro vans revealed

Renault and Vauxhall have revealed details of their new joint van range, with significant styling differences between the two.

Under the skin however, both the new Renault Trafic and Vauxhall Vivaro are identical. Each will apparently include ultra-modern technologies and equipment, with more economical and higher performance engines that benefit from Renault’s Formula One involvement.

The Trafic’s new look embodies Renault’s new brand identity, according to designer Kihyun Jung. “My aim was to achieve a dynamic, assertive stance without sacrificing either the robustness or user-friendliness customers expect of their van.”

Its Vivaro sibling gets a modern and precise look, with a large grille and wing-shaped graphics integrating the signature elements of Vauxhall passenger car.

Both models will be available in the summer.
