Suzuki reveal Alto Play special edition

Suzuki have launched a new version of the Alto, with a limited run of just 500 Play models being built.

The Play includes the air conditioning, pollen filter and side airbags of the SZ3 model, but adds front fog lamps, silver accents on the front bumper, body coloured door handles and mirrors, and unique blue seat fabric to match the Oyster Blue metallic paint on the outside.

The Alto is powered by a one litre engine which, according to Suzuki, makes it the least polluting five-door city car on the market, with CO2 emissions of just 103g/km and economy of 62.4mpg. Sitting in insurance group 4, and with a road tax rate of just £20 per year, the car is undeniably cheap to run, but with a price of just £7,995 it’s also one of the cheapest cars in the UK to buy.

However, that is enough to fund a stylish Fiat 500 that’s just one year old and with just a few thousand miles on, or a virtually brand new Hyundai i10, pre-registered and with delivery mileage only.
